yes indeed. This is a great article. Thoughts really do become things. I use this principle every single day and get great and not so great results. My advice is to stick it out. Trust me life is not easy it takes courage and persevance to get through some of lifes obstacle. But I can tell you is that God is not through. He has a plan for everyone life. Regardless of the opposition, uncertainty, failure or disappointment you owe yourself and God to continue give your best. No one ever said Putting Your Best Self would be easy but it sure worth it and it's rewards are unquestionable. Do best anyway I advice you to read-- Mother Teresa's poem The Final Analysis.

This is great Yetunde! I think oftentimes people are in an internal competition with friends and seek to outdo their successes or use their faliures to validate themselves. But true friendships are not about competition but helping each other up and like you said rejoicing for each others success like it's their own. I also think sometimes people purposely don't help others because they are afraid to see the friend do better than them. We should learn to adopt a selfless attitude and see how much more success comes back in return.
